In the Media: Drs. Buono, Neath, and Sloane Join Relief Teams in Haiti

Drs. Colleen Buono, Sean-Xavier Neath, and Christian Sloane went to Haiti as volunteers with International Relief Teams after the earthquake of January 12. In the days after the disaster, local media organizations interviewed them from the field and then marked their return to San Diego:

Dr. Buono was among the medical workers who cared for a five-year-old boy after he was found alive in the rubble eight days after the earthquake. In a CNN video report, Dr. Buono and other members of the medical team are interviewed as they treat the boy.
