Dr. Robert T. “Chip” Schooley will speak on the topic “MERS, Ebola, Boeing and Bats” at Medicine Grand Rounds on September 17. Dr. Schooley is professor of medicine, academic affairs vice chair of the Department of Medicine and chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at UC San Diego.
The Division of Gastroenterology will present “Updates in Gastroenterology,” a conference for GI nurses and associates, on Saturday, June 27, at the Courtyard Marriott Mission Valley/Hotel Circle in San Diego.
The presenters include Division of Gastroenterology faculty members Michael Docherty, M.D., Denise Kalmaz, M.D., Mary Lee Krinsky, D.O., Heather Patton, M.D., and Thomas Savides, M.D., as well as clinical fellow Rohit Loomba, M.D., and board-certified family nurse practitioner Lisa Richards, MSN.
The conference is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing for 6.5 contact hours.
